Just days before I arrived in New Mexico to look at this house, I had learned about this amazing red snake. I had never seen a red snake, nor heard of one… and it is not venomous. Here was one right in front of the door on my first visits to this house we now live in. VERY fast! and this one was rather large, more than 4′ long. I was not afraid at all.
